The Missouri Certified Crop Adviser Program works in conjunction with the International CCA Program to certify that a Missouri CCA is qualified to provide advice for Missouri Cropping Systems.
The Missouri Certified Crop Adviser program acknowledges and appreciates the excellent support and cooperation it receives from Missouri Agribusiness Association (MO-AG). However, the Missouri Certified Crop Adviser Program is technically independent from MO-AG. The CCA program is administered by the International Certified Crop Adviser Program and the Missouri CCA Board of Directors.
The Missouri Certified Crop Adviser Program pays MO-AG a fee for administrative support, including the hosting of this website. However, the Missouri Certified Crop Adviser Program and Missouri Agribusiness Association are separate and independent organizations.
If you have questions regarding the CCA program, please allow the CCA administrator to forward them to the CCA Board.

CCA Exam Review
Across the country, several thousand men and women serve our farmers and ranchers as Certified Crop Advisers. As professional CCAs, their job is to provide information and expertise on crop production, crop protection, and natural resource management.
To maintain certified status, advisers must complete 40 hours of continuing education in each two-year certification cycle.

Soil and Water Conservation Clinic and Tour -- FREE CEUs!
In an effort to help Missouri Certified Crop Advisers meet the requirement of five continuing education units (CEUs) in soil and water management, MO-AG annually offers Soil and Water Conservation Clinics and Tours.
The clinic is a great opportunity for CCAs to study the physical attributes of soil relative to water retention; water movement; soil drainage, erosion, and fertility; plant nutrition; tillage; and soil management. The goal of the tours is to show the difference in soil properties, relative to crop production, of the Missouri river valley and other areas in central Missouri. For information about upcoming tours, contact MO-AG at 573-636-6130.
SHORT ON CEUs?
If your CEU cycle is ending on December 31 and you are lacking some CEUs, there is still time to earn credits through self-study exams. There is no yearly requirement on the number of CEUs you must earn each year as long as at the end of your CEU cycle you have met all of the CEU requirements.
NEW CEU OPPORTUNITY
The American Society of Agronomy’s monthly newsletter, CSA News, has been redesigned to a news magazine format. Each issue will carry a self-study article worth one CEU, similar to the CCA Advantage. The CSA News is the members-only news magazine of the American Society of Agronomy, Crop Science Society of America and Soil Science Society of America.
